NeLeg® for Leg Strengthening & Spasticity Management
Targeted neuromuscular stimulation for quadriceps, hamstrings, and calf—supporting sit-to-stand, stairs, and balance.
What is NeLeg®?

NeLeg® is a wearable FES system that targets quadriceps, hamstrings, and calf to support strength, tone management, and functional training. By delivering timed stimulation during practice (e.g., sit-to-stand, stairs, balance work), it helps improve muscle activation, knee control, and confidence in daily mobility. Use NeLeg on its own or combine it with neWALK / neWALK+.

How NeLeg® Works

Targeted FES for quadriceps, hamstrings, and calf—supporting strengthening, tone management, and functional training (sit-to-stand, stairs, balance).

NeLeg® Overview

NeLeg® is a wearable functional electrical stimulation (FES) system that targets the quadriceps, hamstrings, and calf to support leg strengthening and spasticity management. By delivering timed stimulation during functional training—such as sit-to-stand, stair climbing, and balance practice—NeLeg helps improve muscle activation, knee control, endurance, and confidence in daily mobility. Use NeLeg on its own or combine it with neWALK / neWALK+ for a comprehensive lower-limb rehabilitation pathway (under clinician guidance).

Who NeLeg® Helps

Individuals with thigh/calf weakness or spasticity associated with Stroke (CVA), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury, Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Cerebral Palsy (CP), aging-related deconditioning, and certain neurological disorders. Use only under clinician supervision.

Key Benefits

• Supports muscle activation, strength, and endurance
• Helps reduce spasticity and improve knee control
• Assists daily mobility tasks (sit-to-stand, stairs, balance)
• Builds confidence and adherence with guided sessions
• Complements gait training with neWALK / neWALK+

Clinically Informed Outcomes & Safety*

FES programs like NeLeg can support strength/endurance, help reduce spasticity and promote more normal tone, preserve/enhance active ROM, support motor learning and neuroplasticity, help prevent disuse atrophy, and may improve local circulation or relieve pain.
See the User Manual for contraindications and precautions.
