NeBow® FES for Bow-Leg Programs — Leg Muscle Strengthening
Task-aligned neuromuscular stimulation to strengthen hip abductors/external rotators, medial quadriceps (VMO), and ankle evertors—supporting knee tracking, alignment, and gait under clinician guidance.
What is NeBow®?

NeBow® is a wearable FES adjunct for bow-leg (genu varum) programs. During guided exercises and gait practice, clinicians configure stimulation to strengthen key leg muscles—notably hip abductors/external rotators, medial quadriceps (VMO), and ankle evertors. The goal is to support better knee tracking, pelvic stability, and more symmetrical loading as part of a comprehensive plan (physiotherapy, bracing/orthotics) under professional supervision.

Product Overview

NeBow delivers phase-aligned FES synchronized to exercise phases (e.g., step-downs, sit-to-stand, stance stability during gait). Clinicians select electrode placement and parameters (intensity, timing, duty cycle) to promote effective, comfortable contractions that build strength and control over time. NeBow is an adjunct to professional care; individual results vary. See the User Manual for indications, precautions, and contraindications.

Who NeBow® Helps

Children, teens, and adults with bow-legs (genu varum) or varus movement patterns who need targeted muscle strengthening during corrective exercise and gait retraining. Always use as advised by a qualified clinician.

Key Benefits

• Focused strengthening of hip abductors/external rotators, VMO/medial quads, ankle evertors
• Supports knee tracking, pelvic stability, and more balanced limb loading
• Complements physiotherapy, home programs, and orthotic/bracing strategies
• Session structure with task-timed cues to encourage consistent practice
• Works alone or alongside other NerveAide devices when multi-segment training is prescribed
